JAPAN'S FINEST ARTS

TOKYO | KANAZAWA | KYOTO | ISE-SHIMA NATIONAL PARK | HAKONE

Carefully considered in their intricacy, the ancient artforms found across Japan act as a remarkable insight into an incredibly rich culture.

See Japan through the eyes of an artist

It’s said that art holds a mirror to society, so for this itinerary, we’ve planned to weave through this east Asian archipelago to gain an understanding of its storied culture through the lens of its age-old artistry.

A journey for discerning travellers taking their first steps on Japanese soil, this curation begins in the capital, before turning anticlockwise through the mainland’s must-see cities. Crowds won’t be frequent, however, thanks to our on-the-ground connections that bring guests to only the most exclusive and authentic of experiences. Instead, you’ll enjoy the likes of private sushi making with an expert chef and observe gold leaf techniques perfected over generations that most would simply miss. It’s a rather beautiful approach to exploring one of the world’s oldest nations, if we do say so ourselves.
