With the world as your oyster, you’ll first traverse to Singapore, through Asia and onwards to Oceania, before crossing the South Pacific to the Americas and weaving through the Caribbean, where the final stretch across the pond will reach a warm spring welcome in the Mediterranean. DUBAI TO SINGAPORE
DAY 1-20
Following the trading routes between Arabia and India, this first stretch includes an overnight stay to explore the iconic Taj Mahal, a visit to the white sand beaches and vibrant lagoons of the Maldives, and a stop to watch the wildlife wandering Sri Lanka’s Yala National Park.
SINGAPORE TO SYDNEY
DAY 20-43
A journey that weaves between the many islands of Southeast Asia, expect to lay eyes on the likes of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea on the way to Australia. Bali and Ubud exude soothing spirituality, dragons wander freely on Komodo, and the Great Barrier Reef precedes arrival in Sydney.
SYDNEY TO AUCKLAND
DAY 43-57
Famed as a surfer’s paradise, Brisbane’s Gold Coast leads to the vineyards of Melbourne, before hopping across to the wilderness of Tasmania. New Zealand’s Milford Sound sees fur seals, penguins and dolphins in its fjord, and the traditions of Māori heritage open a window to another culture.
AUCKLAND TO TAHITI
DAY 57-74
Sailing east across the sunny South Pacific, you’ll stop off at Fiji, Tonga, The Cook Islands and Bora Bora, to learn about Polynesian lifestyle and traditions. Time travel is perhaps an unexpected addition, as crossing the international date line adds a day to your trip.
TAHITI TO VALPARAISO
DAY 74-88
As remote as could be, this passage is one of the more rarely travelled. Moving from French Polynesia through Fakarava and Pitcairn, see the Chilean Easter Island, with sacred sites an important stop off at Rapa Nui.
VALPARAISO TO MIAMI
DAY 88-109
Tracing the coastline of South America due north, this passage drops anchor in Peru for an extended stay to explore historical sites via Lima. Cusco and Machu Picchu are a must, before crossing the Panama Canal from Pacific to Atlantic Oceans, into the Caribbean.
MIAMI TO BARCELONA
DAY 109-129
Moving from the vibrancy of the Caribbean to the concrete jungle of New York, this final stretch crosses the pond first to the Azores and the volcanic landscape of São Miguel. The cities of Lisbon, ancient Andalucian Cadiz, and ever-popular Barcelona are then a worthy trio to finish the trip.
